Residents could be in for a soaking tomorrow (March 1, 2024) after a yellow weather warning was issued for rain.
The warning is in place from midnight until 3pm.
The Met Office has warned that the heavy rain could lead to some disruption. A spokesperson outlined what to expect: "Further rain is expected on Friday leading to some disruption.
"What to expect:
"Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer;
"Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer."
Even moderate rain can reduce your ability to see clearing while driving, so motorists are urged to take extra caution.
Where possible, choose to travel on main roads, where there is less of a chance of encountering a fallen tree, debris, or flooding,
Be sure to leave a larger gap than normal to the vehicle in front of you, so that you can react in plenty of time.
