A concert by Sidmouth Town Band featuring the folk/electronic duo Solarference takes place at the Manor Pavilion Theatre on Saturday, February 24.
Solarference are songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and sound designer Nic Janaway, with vocalist Sarah Owen. They perform traditional and original folk songs, with voice and harmony at the heart of the music. Sarah is also a singing coach who leads several local choirs including the new Sidmouth Community Choir.
As guest musicians at the concert, Solarference will present their acoustic set, exploring folk music through engaging vocal harmonies and intricate instrumental accompaniments.
Sidmouth Town Band will play a mix of popular, traditional and classical instrumental music under the leadership of musical director Adrian Harvey.
The concert is in aid of the Sidmouth Town Band and Sidmouth Lions Club's charity and community service activities.
Tickets for the concert are £11, available online from www.manorpavilion.com or from the theatre box office. The concert starts at 7.45pm.
