AS if we hadn't had enough rain over the past month or so.
Get ready for another soaking with heavy downpours predicted over a 15-hour period from tomorrow (Thursday, January 4).
The Met Office has issued a yellow rain warning covering nearly all of Devon and Somerset.
It's best to have your sou'wester, wellies and brollies at the ready if you're planning on going out any time between midday tomorrow and 3am on Friday (January 5).
The warning covers the tip of Cornwall across the South West as far as London and the South East and a part of East Anglia.
But we should be able to dry out over the weekend, with no rain currently forecast.
A Met Office spokesperson said: "Another spell of rain falling onto saturated ground may lead to further flooding and travel disruption."
Here's what we are being told to expect:
There is a slight chance of power cuts and loss of other services to some homes and businesses;
There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings;
Spray and flooding is likely to lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures;
There is a small chance that some communities will become cut off by flooded roads.
Where flooding occurs, there is a chance of delays or cancellations to train and bus services.
