Members of Sidmouth Flower Arrangement Club took part in a Christmas wreath workshop on Saturday, December 1.
The 16 ladies who attended enjoyed a festive morning with coffee and mince pies, and each went home with a wreath for the door or a table decoration.
A few days earlier, on November 28, the club hosted a demonstration by national flower arranger Angela Turner. Her theme was 'the spirit of winter' and the group were entertained by music and readings as they watched her create her arrangements, including a large floral display inspired by the Winter Solstice.
The flower arrangers meet in All Saints' Hall on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Anyone interested in joining can call 01395 487034 for more details. The club has also set up a new Facebook page with details of its meetings and photos of members' creations.
