East Devon District Council has confirmed the bin collection dates for residents over Christmas and the New Year.

A spokesperson said: "Collections will be affected by the Christmas bank holidays.

"Collections return to normal from Monday, January 15."

  • Monday, December 25 - now Wednesday, December 27
  • Tuesday, December 26 - now Thursday, December 28
  • Wednesday, December 27 - now Friday, December 29
  • Thursday, December 28 - now Saturday, December 30
  • Friday, December 29 - now Tuesday, January 2
  • Monday, January 1 - now Wednesday, January 3
  • Tuesday, January 2 - now Thursday, January 4
  • Wednesday, January 3 - now Friday, January 5
  • Thursday, January 4 - now Saturday, January 6
  • Friday, January 5 - now Monday, January 8
  • Monday, January 8 - now Tuesday, January 9
  • Tuesday, January 9 - now Wednesday, January 10
  • Wednesday, January 10 - now Thursday, January 11
  • Thursday, January 11 - now Friday, January 12
  • Friday, January 12 - now Saturday, January 13

People living in the district have been asked to revise their schedules to ensure their bins are collected efficiently during the festive period and avoid complications.
