A lunchtime event is taking place in Sidmouth on Christmas day for anyone who would like 'company and a cuppa'.
The team at Oasis Cafe are hosting the drop-in event at the Mustard Seed Cafe from noon until 2pm, with hot drinks and festive nibbles.
Anyone can come along, whether they're alone for Christmas or would just like to get out of the house for a cup of tea or coffee and a friendly chat.
Andie Milne of Sidmouth Oasis Cafe said: "The team are aware that for many, Christmas Day can be a day of mixed emotions, so please do join us in helping make Christmas 2023 a time of new pleasant memories.
"It doesn't matter if you are a family making new memories or someone whose family is just a memory - the team at Oasis will look forward to making you a cuppa with a smile."
The Oasis team also wanted to give back to the community, so they will be collecting donations on the day for Sidmouth's Wellbeing and Health Action Team (WHAT), a charity supporting young children and families with mental health issues.
They are grateful to the Mustard Seed Cafe for enabling them to host the Christmas Day event.
