East Devon's motorists will have six road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
But drivers will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• A30, from 9am November 24 to 11pm November 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Upottery - lane closure for emergency South West Water works.
• A35, from 6am November 20 to 6am December 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): Broad Road Kentisbeare Milestone Infrastructure use our network as part of diversion.
• M5, from 9am July 18 2022 to 11.59pm August 29 2027, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 28 to 29 hard shoulder closure in both directions for parapet works.
And a further three closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• A30, from 9am to 3pm on November 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 Pattersons to Daisymount WB Lane one days.
• M5, from 9pm November 30 to 4am December 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 29 entry slip road lane closure for barrier repair.
• M5, from 8pm December 11 to 6am December 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 28 to 29 lane closures for surveys.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
