Following this, Sidmouth Amateur Dramatic Society will stage this year's panto, Robinson Crusoe & The Pirates, a thrilling adventure for all the family.
It runs from December 27 through to January 1.
Councillor Nick Hookway has encouraged people to book their tickets early.
He said: "The Manor Pavilion theatre is offering a superb programme this year to get us all in the festive spirit, why there's even a Panto!
