The South West Academy of Fine and Applied Arts, based in Sidmouth, is about to hold its 24th consecutive Open Exhibition at Kennaway House.
The exhibition, held in four large gallery rooms, attracts work from artists across the UK and also has an increasingly international flavour, including paintings from China and Hong Kong.
The work on display will include craft and applied arts such as textiles, ceramics, photography, and printmaking.
Another highlight of the event is the large number of well-known and notable artists in the South West region exhibiting their work alongside artists who are new to art and Academicians themselves. The Academy also actively encourages young artists to participate.
The exhibition is a visual treat for artists, collectors, and the public alike and is a keenly awaited date in the diary. Art will be available for sale in a variety of price ranges.
It opens on Tuesday, October 31 and continues until Saturday, November 11, and admission is free.
