Towards the end of October, the Tipton St. John Players & Pantomime Society, (TIPPS) will be holding its first One Act Play Festival.
The group will present two plays' from their own group, with a guest group joining at each performance. This year, they have also introduced a Matinee performance for this event, which might suit those who prefer not to on venture out on dark and possibly cold evenings.
The plays on each afternoon/evening will be 'Bride before a fall' written by Robert Scott and 'Last Tango in Little Grimley' written by David Tristram.
The guest appearances are as follows:
- Thursday 26th October: Axminster Drama Club with 'Stuck' written by Andrew Coley.
- Friday 27th October: Ottery Community Theatre with 'The Playground' written by Chelle Walsh,
- Saturday 28th October Matinee: Axminster Drama Club with 'Mr Marmite' written by Simon Hurst.
- Saturday 28th October Evening: Axminster again with 'Mr Marmite.
The Matinee performance begins at 2.30 pm and each evening starts at 7.30pm. At Tipton St. John Community Hall.

Tickets are £10 adults and £5 for under 16's, this includes a programme and refreshments.
