It is exactly a year since Sidmouth Hospice at Home moved into its Sidford headquarters.

They moved out of the old HQ at Keel House to a bigger space in Church Street, Sidford year ago on Wednesday, (August, 2) and since moving to a bigger space, they have been able to do more amazing things to help people with life limiting illnesses in Sidmouth and the Sid Valley.

Some of these include hosting Wellbeing Day Care sessions for patients, run by specialist palliative care nurses and assisted by volunteers, dedicating some office space for nurses and staff, a complementary therapy space, a quiet space to offer our spiritual support services to those that would like to use them and provide a space for the local NHS Dementia Services to use to offer their day care services.

Sidmouth Hospice at Home is a local charity, founded in 1985 and funded by the local community. The mission is to ensure that care and support is provided to people in the Sid Valley with life-limiting illnesses, as well as their carers and families.
