The highly acclaimed author Jane Corry launched her latest thriller, Coming to Find You, at a very busy Winstone’s bookshop in Sidmouth on Monday, June 26.
The Sidmouth resident and Sunday Times best-selling author, with seven books already to her name, decided to launch her eighth psychological thriller from the independent bookshop in her hometown. Scores of people attended the early Monday evening event, where Jane addressed the audience giving thanks, among others, to Sidmouth evacuee Ivy Jones, who now lives in the town after being evacuated there during the war, and fellow author Andrew Chatterton who helped Jane during the copy-editing stage of her book.
Andrew, who is a resident of Budleigh Salterton with a strong interest in local history and author of Britain’s Secret Defences, also gave a short and fascinating speech about the secret army that existed to defend East Devon in the event of an invasion by the Germans.
Coming To Find You is available for £7.99 in paperback, and is now on sale nationwide in bookshops, supermarkets and online.
