Sidmouth in Bloom’s ‘Secluded Gardens’, takes place from Thursday, June 29 until Monday, July 3 to raise funds for the town’s floral displays.
The owners of eight private gardens will be welcoming the public to come and look around, although the days and times they will be opening vary from garden to garden.
Lynette Talbot, chair of Sidmouth in Bloom, said: “The parks, open spaces and floral displays of Sidmouth are an important attraction for tourists and residents. This visual enjoyment in the town is done with the help of volunteers and EDDC gardeners, and some areas are planted up by school children in the town.
“Please help SIB raise money and come and visit the gardens open to the public. They are varied in size, some large, some small but all interesting. Gardens range from established to new.”
Admission fees are £2 per garden or £7 for all the gardens, and are sold at the gate of each house.
