There’s just a week to go before Sidmouth Jazz & Blues Festival, and a few tickets are still available for the headline concerts.

The festival runs from Friday, May 26 until Monday 29. American jazz star Curtis Stigers will open the festival on Friday evening, followed by the Brand New Heavies on Saturday, Mud Morganfield on Sunday, and Courtney Pine on Monday.

In addition to the ticketed evening performances, there will be free live music in Blackmore Gardens from noon until 5.30pm from Saturday to Monday. Performers include The Jazz Defenders, The Adam Sweet Blues Band, Hannah Williams and The Affirmations, Orpheus Latin Band, The Big Smoke Family and a special guest performance by Roland Gift and The Blacks, of the Fine Young Cannibals fame.

There are also fringe events at the Swan Inn, Dukes, The Volunteer Inn, The Radway Inn, Rincon Coffee, The Courtyard Café, The Chattery, The Balfour Arms, 14 Miles East, The Blue Ball Sidford, The Marine and at The Kings Arms in Otterton.
