A MAN has been rescued from a car after a collision in Sidbury.
After they were alerted to reports of a road traffic collision, crews from Sidmouth and Honiton attended the scene in Chapel Street.
The collision involved two cars. One female casualty had self-released, while fire crews worked to release a male casualty.
A spokesperson from Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: "This was a road traffic collision involving two cars, one female casualty had self-released and fire crews released a male casualty using hydraulic rescue equipment and small tools.
"Casualties left in the care of the ambulance and fire crews made the vehicles safe."
