Organisers of Sidmouth Daffodil Day have reported a record profit from this year's event, held on Saturday, March 11.
The day, held at Kennaway House, has become an important part of Sidmouth's events calendar.
Despite the wet weather, gardening enthusiasts turned out in force to browse the flower and plant stalls hosted by some of the region's best growers.
There was also an art exhibition, tea and cakes in the Cellar Bar, and trips to Sidmouth's daffodil sites in the vintage 'toast rack' vehicle.
Sally Blyth, chair of the Daffodil Society, has thanked her team of volunteer helpers, the outdoor stallholders who braved the cold wet weather, and the business owners who decorated their shopfronts for the event, as well as everyone who came out to support it.
All the profits from the event will be spent on planting bulbs around the Sid Valley.
