A ‘temporary’ Victorian-style tea room that opened at Kennaway House over the Christmas period proved so popular, it has been brought back.
The tea room will be open in the Amyatt Room on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11am until 3pm until the beginning of March. Visitors can enjoy tea, coffee, cakes, biscuits and cream teas served on vintage china in the elegant high-ceilinged room. Alternative vegan milks and gluten-free options are also available, and there are free refills of tea and coffee.
There is also an exhibition of work by local artists on display and available for sale. It features a mixture of natural landscapes, cityscapes, seascapes, still life and animal paintings by Robert Crisp, Bryan Dawkins, Cherry Ferris, Ruth Skolmli, Alison Summerfield, Favel Bevan-Arti, George Hutchinson and Jan Shayler.
Entry is free to the exhibition and tea room.
