There is still time to nominate someone for a Sidmouth Rotary Club Citizen of the Year Award.
The deadline for nominations is Sunday, January 29 and we will reprint the nomination form in this Friday's Herald.
The award will recognise a local resident who has made a real difference to life in the Sidmouth area during 2022. It could be someone who works for a charity or community group, or an individual who acts on their own behalf to help people.
The winner of the Citizen of the Year 2021 was Angela Thompson, coordinator of the Sid Valley Memory Café, who was recognised for her many years of dedication in organising the cafe's weekly meetings at Twyford House.
Nominations for the 2022 Award should be sent to Citizen of the Year 2022, Sidmouth Herald, Regus, 1 Emperor Way, Exeter Business Park, Exeter EX1 3QS. We will pass them on to the Rotary Club for judging.
Photocopies of the form will not be accepted.
The winner will be announced later in the year. There will be a presentation ceremony and their name will be added to the Board of Honour at Sidmouth Town Council's offices.
