A new evangelical church has begun meeting at Sidmouth Primary School on Sunday mornings.
Lighthouse Church Sidmouth was set up in March and used to meet at the Youth Centre, but needed more space to grow and has now moved to the school.
It will be holding its official launch there on Sunday, November 6.
A spokesperson said: “We are a church that believes in the Bible, loves to worship and endeavours to be like the New Testament church as we care for one another and reach out into our local community.
“We want others to enjoy a life-changing relationship with Jesus which is our own testimony. Everyone is very welcome. We gather for refreshments, greeting one another and welcoming guests at 10am, starting the service at 10.30. On launch day, 6 November, there will be free food for all at the end of our meeting.
“We will be delighted to see you and hope that you will come along more than once. We look forward to getting to know you!”
