A classic tractor working weekend in Salcombe Regis raised £740 for Hospiscare.
The event, also featuring steam engines, took place at Kings Down Farm on Saturday, September 24 and Sunday 25.
It was organised by the local farming community, with Richard Start acting as the main co-ordinator.
He said he was ’thrilled’ with the amount of money raised and the general success of the event: “It’s a nice way for all the tractor enthusiasts to come together, helping local families get the care and support they need across Exeter, Mid and East Devon.”
He said a lot of organising and planning had gone into the weekend and he would like to thank the Knight Family for allowing the event to go ahead.
Toni Hiscocks, Hospiscare’s area fundraiser, said: “The weather was fine and the sun shone, it was a fun day, refreshments were available and the donations came rolling in.”
