A successful coffee morning at Malden House raised £412 for a leading heart charity Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).
The event was staged in memory of Jonathan Hayman, who died aged 27 from a heart attack. Jonathan’s grandmother Barbara Douglas is a resident at the care home.
Aga Orlowska, manager of Malden House, said: “We’re delighted that the morning was so successful. The residents enjoyed the morning and the activities in addition to raising funds.”
Jonathan’s mother, Marion, thanked all involved for making the event a success.
