PHELPS Anne nee Fenton-Jones Passed away peacefully at home after a long illness on 18th May 2024 aged 92 years and 2 days. Dearly loved and missed by both her families, her many friends and her wonderful care team. Anne was a well-known figure in the Sidmouth Community where between 1968 and 1993 she worked as District Nurse, Midwife, Nursing Officer and finally Practice Nurse. Many people were cared for by Anne both here in the UK and in Africa during her impressive 45-year nursing career. A service of Thanksgiving will take place at All Saints Church, Sidmouth on 19th June 2024 at Midday. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Alzheimer's Society c/o Potburys Funeral Service or online at www.potburys-funerals.co.uk. Anne would want everyone to wear bright happy colours at her Thanksgiving Service.
