WIMMS Stephanie Peacefully on 14th January 2024 aged 76 years at Kings Manor Care Home in Ottery St Mary. Dear mother to Mike & Caroline, devoted grandma to Arianna, Amalie, Isabella and Dexter, and much loved sister to Julia and the late Valerie. A service will be held in the East Devon Crematorium on Thursday 8th February at 2.30pm. Smart dress, black/blue optional. Family flowers only please but donations if desired to Alzheimer's Society by retiring collection, online at www.luxton-funeral.co.uk or c/o Luxton Funeral Service, Ottery St Mary EX11 1BE.

Once upon a time, as a secondary school English teacher, I had cause to be very appreciative of Steph's departmental team working. She was a very skilled professional colleague; a vivacious, thoughtful individual who loved her subject & wanted to give of her best to the lives of her pupils both in the class room but also through ski trips & helping out with school shows. She continued to be a good friend & I was sorry to lose contact with her after unanswered calls & cards last year.
