BUTLER. George Thomas, passed away peacefully on Sunday 8th August 2010 in Sidmouth Hospital aged 92. George had a successful professional career in the Midlands being fully independent and caring until the last two months. He retired to Sidmouth with his wife Winifred Juliet who passed away in 1995 and together as a devoted couple experienced the unique peaceful surroundings in Sidmouth with its cliff walks. Georges family are most appreciative of the loving care devoted to him by the staff and public services at Sidmouth Hospital. George was a special, kind and interesting person to his deceased sister Ellen and her family in Canada, to nieces, nephews and their children and families, Stanley and Jean, Nigel and Christine, Rosemary, Tony and Ben and to his neighbours. The Funeral Service to be held at 1.45pm on Monday 23rd August 2010 at Exeter Crematorium. No flowers please but donations to Sidmouth Hospital Comforts Fund c/o Potburys Funeral Service,
