HEMMINGWAY Algernon Walter Firth “Algie” Q.P.M. Former Commander Metropolitan Police and Commissioner of Police, St. Lucia. Died 28th July 2011. Dearly loved husband of Christine, father of Kym, Joanne and Alison, stepfather of Richard and Tim, grandfather of Rhiannon, Tom, Abi, and Katie. Funeral and Thanksgiving Service to be held on Monday 15th August at Sidmouth Methodist Church at 11.30am. Family flowers only, donations if desired to be divided between Barnardos and Parkinsons UK c/o Potburys Funeral Service.
