Plowman. Denis. Passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday February 14th 2013, aged 90 years. A well known personality, and landlord of The Bowd Inn, Sidmouth 1968 – 1986. Beloved husband of Christine for 70 years. Father of Carol and David, grandfather of James, Mark, Clare and Andrew. Sadly missed. Funeral Service will be held at the Parish Church of St Leonard’s, Topsham Road, on Tuesday February 26th at 2.15pm, followed by cremation at the Exeter & Devon Crematorium. Family flowers only please, but donations in memory of Denis are for Prostate Cancer UK and may be left by retiring collection at the service; or may be sent c/o Exeter & District Funeral Service, 210 Topsham Road, Exeter, Devon.
