HIBBERT. James Anthony MBE MC (Tony) died peacefully at home with his family on Sunday 12th October 2014. A veteran of Dunkirk and Arnhem, after the war he became a successful businessman and keen dingy sailor. During the 1970s he lived in Branscombe where he helped fundraise to build the new village hall and was instrumental in creating the Devon Emergency Volunteers. He retired to Cornwall where he restored the award winning Trebah Gardens. He leaves 7 children, 11 grandchildren and one great grandson. All enquires 01326 250646.Your tribute has been received.
