DAVIDSON. On 11th February at home in Burrow Lane, Newton Poppleford. John Basil aged 82. Much loved husband of the late Elsie, loved father to the late Andrew and to Lynne and Michael. Fond and loving grandfather to Gemma, Andrew and Chloe. A very much loved member of the community. Truly a great friend to all who knew him. John you always found time for people, to help, to listen and to give. You will be sadly missed by so many, you will always be remembered in our thoughts and will live on forever in our hearts. Its time for you to rest now.......... Funeral service at St. Lukes Church, Newton Poppleford on Friday 2nd March at 3.00pm. Family flowers please, but if desired donations most gratefully received by retiring collection in aid of Macmillan Cancer Nurses or may be forwarded to Woodleys Funeral Director, Exeter Road, Newton Poppleford, Devon.
