MATTHEWS Alan Harold. Alan died peacefully in Sidmouth Victoria Hospital on Saturday 2nd April following a long illness bravely borne. His wife Dee and former wife Jackie were both with him. He also leaves two sons, Ian and Adrian and six grandchildren. A ceremony to celebrate his life (not mourn his death) will be held at the East Devon Crematorium, Whimple at 1.45pm on 21st April. Please wear bright colours and be happy for him. No flowers please, but donations if desired for Devon Air Ambulance will be gratefully received and should be sent c/o Northcott Brothers, 68 Temple Street, Sidmouth, EX10 9BJ.
