WHITE GERALD MBE Passed away peacefully at home in Newton Poppleford with his family around him on 23rd May 2022 aged 89 years. He was the much loved husband of Raymonde and married for 60 years; inspirational Dad to Richard and Juliet, and adored Granddad of Robert, Emily, Matthew and Samuel. He was Head of Physics at The Kings School, Ottery St Mary, retiring in 1986, Chief Warning Officer, UKWMO, and Secretary of the Norman Lockyer Observatory, Sidmouth until 1999. His funeral service will be held in the East Devon Crematorium, Whimple on Thursday 9th June at 1.45pm. Family flowers only please but donations if desired for World Challenge by retiring collection or c/o F J Luxton, Funeral Directors, Ottery St Mary EX11 1BE
